Second Stage Round 10: Falco KC - ZTE KK 88-80

Very important is a road loss of third ranked ZTE KK (22-12) against fourth ranked Falco KC (22-12) on Thursday night. Visiting ZTE KK was defeated by Falco KC in a tough game in Szombathely 80-88. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ZTE KK. ZTE KK was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 25-12 charge of Falco KC, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) scored 29 points and 7 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Benedek Varadi (195-95) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) responded with 27 points and 5 assists and Lithuanian center Adomas Drungilas (203-90) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Falco KC moved-up to second place, which they share with Kormend and ZTE KK.
