Regular Season Round 2: PEAC-Pecs - MTK 90-56

The game with biggest result difference took place in Pecs. Local PEAC-Pecs (1-1) outscored MTK (0-2) 90-56 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. PEAC-Pecs led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to MTK's 26. PEAC-Pecs forced 20 MTK turnovers and outrebounded them 40-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Serbian Maja Vucurovic (187-91, agency: ProDep Management) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Nigerian forward Sarah Imovbioh (188-92, college: S.Carolina) chipped in 15 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four PEAC-Pecs players scored in double figures. Croatian forward Andrijana Cvitkovic (190-94, college: Dayton, agency: Interperformances) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Zsuzsanna Szekely-Horvath (189-83, college: Georgetown) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. PEAC-Pecs' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Pecs to the arena PINKK-Pecsi.
