Regular Season Round 3: Sopron Basket - ZTE NKK 95-67

Sopron Basket (3-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ZTE NKK (1-1) 95-67. The game without a history. Sopron Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to ZTE NKK's 36. Sopron Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Yvonne Turner (176-87, college: Nebraska, agency: ProDep Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points, 7 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Spanish point guard Angela Salvadores (178-97, college: Duke, agency: ProDep Management) helped adding 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Austrian guard Sigi Koizar (173-95, college: Maine) with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Chucky Jeffery (178-91, college: Colorado) scored 16 points. Four ZTE NKK players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sopron Basket will play against UNI Gyor on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ZTE NKK will play against Vasas Akademia to get more than just one victory in their record.
