Regular Season Round 3: MTK - BEAC Ujbuda 65-48

Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Budapest: MTK (#10) and BEAC-Ujbuda (#9). MTK (1-2) crushed visiting BEAC-Ujbuda (0-3) by 17 points 65-48. The game without a history. MTK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for forward Lilla Adamecz (182-92) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Zsuzsanna Szekely-Horvath (189-83, college: Georgetown) contributed with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Swingman Anna Suppan (177-94) answered with 12 points and 4 steals and forward Krisztina Sule (178-87) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for BEAC-Ujbuda. BEAC-Ujbuda's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. MTK will face Miskolc (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BEAC-Ujbuda will play against Cegledi EKK (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
