Regular Season Round 1: AEK - Keravnos 84-75

Very significant was AEK's (1-0) victory against Keravnos (0-1) 84-75. AEK made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. American point guard Tyreek Duren (183-91, college: La Salle) fired 27 points and 4 steals for the winners. Serbian forward Danilo Tasic (207-93, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. American power forward Terell Parks (204-91, college: W.Illinois) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and the other American import guard Kenny Barker (191-86, college: Alaska-Anch., agency: SportsVision-Service) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Five Keravnos players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. AEK will meet Enosis (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Keravnos will play against Apoel and hope to win that game.
