Regular Season Round 3: Massagno - Starwings 68-47

Rather expected game when Starwings (1-2) were smashed by Massagno (3-0) in Lugano 68-47. Massagno dominated on the defensive end, holding Starwings to just 4 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Starwings 41-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for American swingman Keon Moore (196-92, college: Winthrop, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points. Serbian center Milos Jankovic (206-94) helped adding 10 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was German center Bjoern Schoo (213-81, college: Northern St.) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Branislav Kostic (180-94) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Massagno will play against Neuchatel (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Starwings will play against Swiss Central to get more than just one victory in their record.
