Rather expected game in Szekszard where 8th ranked PINKK-Pecsi (1-3) was crushed by top-ranked Atomeromu (2-0) 76-49 on Sunday. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to PINKK-Pecsi's 20. Atomeromu forced 22 PINKK-Pecsi turnovers. Naturalized Serbian center Sara Krnjic (191-91) fired 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Slovenian point guard Teja Oblak (172-90) chipped in 9 points and 4 assists. American center Shelby Cheslek (196-92, college: Gonzaga) produced 7 points and 14 rebounds and Slovenian forward Tina Jakovina (184-92) added 8 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu moved-up to fourth place. Loser PINKK-Pecsi keeps the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with MTK and Vasas Akademia. Atomeromu will meet league's leader UNI Gyor on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. PINKK-Pecsi will play against Miskolc (#3) and hope to win that game.
