Etha (1-1) recorded a loss in Paphou on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by APOP (1-0) 72-71. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton, agency: KMG Sports Management) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Guard James Milliken (188-93, college: Creighton, agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists. Forward Dion Wright (201-93, college: St.Bonaventure) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and guard Trevis Wyche (185-95, college: St.Peter's) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Etha's coach Giorgos Bitzanis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. APOP are looking forward to face AEK in Larnaca in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Etha will have a break next round.
