Very predictable result in Kazan where Unics-2 (4-0) defeated Parma-2 (2-6) 81-74. They outrebounded Parma-2 46-18 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Unics-2 players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for center Semen Pinaev (208-99) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Sergey Krivykh (182-98) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Unics-2 players scored in double figures. Swingman Yakov Yakovlev (194-99) answered with 35 points (!!!) and guard Aleksandr Platunov (192-97) added 11 points and 13 assists in the effort for Parma-2. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Unics-2's next round opponent will be Lokomotiv-2 in Krasnodar and it will be for sure the game of the week.
