Regular Season Round 4: Neuchatel - Massagno 73-54

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Massagno (3-1) on the court of sixth ranked Neuchatel on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Neuchatel 73-54. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Massagno. Strangely Massagno outrebounded Neuchatel 43-25 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Spencer Parker (201-93, college: Bowling Green, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and the other American import forward Andre Williamson (202-89, college: Appalachian St.) who added 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Neuchatel players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian center Milos Jankovic (206-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and naturalized Senegalese power forward Jules Aw (202-86) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds. Neuchatel (2-2) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Boncourt. Massagno at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Lugano Tigers and Geneve Lions. Neuchatel is looking forward to face Lakers (#9) in Vevey in the next round. Massagno will play at home against the league's leader Fribourg (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
