The game in Kormend was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Falco-Vulcano (2-2) played at the court of fifth ranked Kormend (3-1). Kormend defeated Falco-Vulcano 91-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Falco-Vulcano. It looked good early as Falco-Vulcano took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kormend had a 26-16 second period charge getting the lead and Falco-Vulcano was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-91. Kormend dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Falco-Vulcano's 32. They outrebounded Falco-Vulcano 45-25 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Kormend especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. American guard Marquis Wright (185-95, college: Siena) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Justin Tuoyo (208-94, college: Chattanooga) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Kormend players scored in double figures. Kormend's coach Gasper Potocnik allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International swingman Zoltan Perl (195-95) answered with 22 points and Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (201-85) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Falco-Vulcano. Kormend moved-up to third place. Falco-Vulcano at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. Kormend's next round opponent will be DEAC (#4) in Debrecen. Falco-Vulcano will play at home against the league's leader Kaposvari and hope to win that game.
