Bottom-ranked Swiss Central managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they edged eighth-ranked Starwings in Basel 90-88. Strangely Starwings outrebounded Swiss Central 33-13 including a 24-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for American point guard Austin Chatman (183-93, college: Creighton, agency: SDJ Sports) who helped to win the game recording 30 points. Marco Lehmann (186-93) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Serbian-Montenegrin center Nemanja Calasan (204-85, college: Purdue, agency: HMS) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Brunelle Tutonda (201-89, agency: Promotex) added 20 points in the effort for Starwings. Five Starwings players scored in double figures. Swiss Central (2-4) moved-up to seventh place. Starwings lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Swiss Central's next round opponent will be Monthey (#10) at home. Starwings will play against Geneve Lions and hope to win that game.
