Regular Season Round 4: Dynamo-MGTU - Tambov 72-84

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Dynamo-MGTU (1-1) in Maykop on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Tambov (2-2) 84-72. Tambov looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Kirill Arkhipov (202-96) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Vasiliy Gladyshev (189-83) who added 15 points, 9 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (205-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Pavel Rossov (205-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Dynamo-MGTU players scored in double figures. Tambov moved-up to fourth place in 2. Dynamo-MGTU at the other side dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. Tambov will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dynamo-MGTU will play at home against Rusichi K. (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
