Superleague top team - TEMP-SUMZ Revda (10-0) managed to deliver another win on Thursday. This time they beat fifth ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (6-4) 79-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ural Ekaterinburg. TEMP-SUMZ Revda made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Ural Ekaterinburg turnovers. It was a quality performance for the former international swingman Andrei Ivanov (197-84, agency: Alti Sport) who led the winners and scored 20 points. Point guard Alexandr Varnakov (185-92) accounted for 12 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Four TEMP-SUMZ Revda players scored in double figures. Point guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) came up with 12 points and 6 assists and guard Pavel Aleksandrov (192-89) added 15 points respectively for Ural Ekaterinburg in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for TEMP-SUMZ Revda. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Loser Ural Ekaterinburg dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will meet Khimky-Podmoskoye (#4) in the next round.
