Regular Season Round 6: Atomeromu - KTE-Duna 78-96

An interesting game was played in Paks where KTE-Duna (#8) won against host Atomeromu (#5) with 18-point difference 96-78 on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by KTE-Duna. Atomeromu managed to win second period 27-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KTE-Duna looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) scored 29 points and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Bernard Thompson (191-93, college: FGCU) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Jabarie Hinds (180-92, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) with 20 points and 4 assists and international power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KTE-Duna (3-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Falco-Vulcano and PVSK-Veolia. Loser Atomeromu dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. KTE-Duna will meet at home Alba (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Atomeromu will play against Szedeak (#7) in Szeged and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
