Regular Season Round 6: Szedeak - Sopron KC 77-67

Rather expected game in Szeged where 12th ranked Sopron KC (1-4) was defeated by ninth ranked Szedeak (3-3) 77-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Szedeak. Sopron KC managed to win second period 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Szedeak won last quarter 19-11. The former international power forward Levente Juhos (208-91, college: Moberly Area CC) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Four Szedeak players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Slovenian power forward Sasa Zagorac (206-84, agency: PEPI SPORT) with 26 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!) and American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Two Points) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Szedeak moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Sopron KC dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. They share it with Alba. Szedeak will meet at home Atomeromu (#9) in the next round. Sopron KC will play against Falco-Vulcano and hope to win that game.
