Regular Season Round 6: Falco-Vulcano - Kaposvari 106-82

Kaposvari (4-1) recorded its first loss in Szombathely on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by tenth ranked Falco-Vulcano (3-2) 106-82. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Kaposvari. The game without a history. Falco-Vulcano led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Falco-Vulcano looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Belarusian-Russian Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-85) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Five Falco-Vulcano players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) who recorded 32 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) added 22 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Falco-Vulcano moved-up to fourth place, which they share with PVSK-Veolia and KTE-Duna. Kaposvari at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with Kormend. Falco-Vulcano is looking forward to face Sopron KC (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kaposvari will play against DEAC (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
