MBA (#4) was upset in Vidnoye by eighth ranked Spartak Vidnoye 81-73. Spartak Vidnoye forced 22 MBA turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Forward Adelina Abaiburova (186-95, agency: LBM Management) nailed 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and international Daria Kolosovskaya (182-96, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) accounted for 16 points and 4 assists. International Anna Leshovceva (181-87) came up with 15 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Liudmila Sapova (188-84) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for MBA in the defeat. Spartak Vidnoye (2-3) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Dynamo M. and Kazanochka. MBA at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. Spartak Vidnoye will play against Dynamo Moscow (#7) at home in the next round. MBA will play against the league's leader UMMC Ekaterinburg and hopes to get back on the winning track.
