Very expected game when 13th ranked Zenit-Farm (2-8) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Novosybirsk (6-6) 82-67. Novosybirsk dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Zenit-Farm's 32. Center Alexey Kurtsevich (210-89) nailed 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winning side and power forward Andrey Kirdyachkin (207-90) accounted for 12 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Novosybirsk players scored in double figures. Novosybirsk's coach Vladimir Pevnev allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
