Regular Season Round 7: Kaposvari - DEAC 69-75

The game between second ranked Kaposvari (4-2) and eighth ranked DEAC (4-3) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Kaposvari was defeated by DEAC in a tough game in Kaposvar 69-75. Kaposvari was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when DEAC made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Bulgarian Ivan Lilov (194-88) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Isaiah Armwood (206-90, college: G.Washington) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks for the winners. Four DEAC players scored in double figures. Naturalized Serbian center Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) answered with 28 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kaposvari. DEAC moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Szedeak. Kaposvari at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Falco-Vulcano. DEAC is looking forward to face higher ranked Falco-Vulcano (#3) in Szombathely in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kaposvari will play on the road against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and is hoping to win this game.
