Undefeated leader Burevestnik delivered the ninth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Rusichi K. (2-5) 89-54 in Kursk. They outrebounded Rusichi K. 46-31 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Burevestnik players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Ilia Aleksandrov (194-81) nailed 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winning side and guard Anton Ageev (191-84) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Burevestnik players scored in double figures. Swingman Aleksey Almushev (198-90) came up with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Alexandr Klyuev (203-90) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Rusichi K. in the defeat. Rusichi K.'s coach Sergey Yaroshenko gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Burevestnik maintains first place in 2 with 9-0 record. Rusichi K. at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Burevestnik will have a break next round. Rusichi K. will play again at home against the league's leader Burevestnik (#1) and hope to win that game.
