Very significant was CSKA Junior's (#7) 81-73 road victory against 6th ranked Parma-2. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Parma-2. CSKA Junior had a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Vasilii Posrednikov (200-0) notched a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and Alexandr Kurbatov (208-97) supported him with 17 points and 10 rebounds. CSKA Junior's coach Andrey Maltsev used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 22 points by guard Aleksandr Platunov (192-97) did not help to save the game for Parma-2. Point guard Pavel Kogevnikov (180-98) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Parma-2 players scored in double figures. CSKA Junior (4-6) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Zenit. Parma-2 at the other side dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
