Undefeated leader Atomeromu delivered the seventh consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Vasas Akademia (2-6) 79-57 in Budapest. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Atomeromu had a 29-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of naturalized Serbian center Sara Krnjic (191-91) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Erica McCall (190-95, college: Stanford, agency: ProDep Management) who added 18 points during the contest. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American guard Ezinne Kalu (173-92, college: Savannah St.) responded with 10 points and forward Reka Dombai (179-2) scored 8 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu (7-0) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row. Vasas Akademia lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. Atomeromu will meet at home Miskolc (#5) in the next round. Vasas Akademia will have a break next round.
