SBL top team - Fribourg (6-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Bellinzona (1-5) 65-60. Belgian point guard Noemie Mayombo (170-91, agency: LBM Management) notched 19 points and 5 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) to lead the effort and international guard Nancy Fora (176-97) supported her with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 20 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Jessica Jackson (192-95, college: Arkansas) did not help to save the game for Bellinzona. Her fellow American import forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR) added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four Bellinzona players scored in double figures.
