Regular Season Round 11: Dynamo-MGTU - Burevestnik 92-85

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Burevestnik (10-1) in Maykop on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Dynamo-MGTU (6-3) 92-85. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in 2. Dynamo-MGTU made 30-of-33 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Burevestnik helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Artem Gaposhin (184-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!). Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (205-85) contributed with 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Dynamo-MGTU players scored in double figures. Ilia Aleksandrov (194-81) answered with 25 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Andrey Chernysh (212-90) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Burevestnik. Dynamo-MGTU maintains second place in 2 with 6-3 record having six points less than leader Burevestnik. Burevestnik at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Dynamo-MGTU are again looking forward to face league's leader Burevestnik in Yaroslav in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Burevestnik will have a break next round.
