Very important is a road loss of third ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (9-4) against ninth ranked Kupol-Rodniki (6-8) on Wednesday night. Visiting TEMP-SUMZ Revda was defeated by Kupol-Rodniki in a tough game in Izhevsk 88-96. Kupol-Rodniki forced 22 TEMP-SUMZ Revda turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. TEMP-SUMZ Revda was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Viktor Kashin (193-94) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists. Center Ruslan Abdulbasirov (211-93) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Alexandr Varnakov (185-92) answered with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and point guard Dmitriy Zlobin (186-88) added 14 points in the effort for TEMP-SUMZ Revda. Five Kupol-Rodniki and four TEMP-SUMZ Revda players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kupol-Rodniki maintains ninth place with 6-8 record. TEMP-SUMZ Revda lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Kupol-Rodniki will play against MBA Moscow (#11) at home in the next round. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will play against Ryazan (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
