Important game to mention about took place in Maykop. Second ranked Dynamo-MGTU (7-4) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Arsenal (5-6) 80-78 on Saturday evening. Strangely Arsenal outrebounded Dynamo-MGTU 39-23 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Artem Gaposhin (184-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 assists. Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (205-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Dynamo-MGTU players scored in double figures. Power forward Pavel Krykov (210-84) answered with 23 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Aleksandr Zaykin (207-84) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Arsenal. Arsenal's coach Viktor Uskov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dynamo-MGTU maintains second place in 2 with 7-4 record having five points less than leader Burevestnik. Arsenal at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Dynamo-MGTU will again play against Arsenal (#4) in Tula in the next round. Arsenal will have a break next round.
