Not a big story in a game in Szekesfehervar where 13th ranked JP-Auto JKSE (1-9) was defeated by sixth ranked Alba (6-4) 68-55. The game was mostly controlled by Alba. JP-Auto JKSE was better in third quarter 18-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded JP-Auto JKSE 44-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. The former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. International power forward Akos Keller (208-89) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Alba's coach Branislav Dzunic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bosnian center Ismet Sejfic (208-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) answered with 21 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Devante Wallace (196-92, college: High Point) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for JP-Auto JKSE. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Alba. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. JP-Auto JKSE lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Alba's next round opponent will be MAFC (#12) in Budapest and are hoping to win another game. JP-Auto JKSE will play at home against Sopron KC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
