Regular Season Round 12: Kaposvari - Szedeak 76-60
Date: December 20, 2017
We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked Szedeak (5-7) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Kaposvari (5-6) 76-60. The game without a history. Kaposvari led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) who scored that evening 27 points and 4 assists and the other American import guard Mo Evans (185-94, college: IPFW) supported him with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 7 rebounds by Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) did not help to save the game for Szedeak. Swingman Adam Kovacs (190-93) added 10 points and 9 rebounds. Kaposvari moved-up to tenth place. Szedeak lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Kaposvari's next round opponent will be higher ranked Atomeromu (#5) in Paks and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Szedeak will play on the road against Falco-Vulcano (#3) in Szombathely and hope to win that game.
