The game between closely ranked teams ended with 15th ranked Austrian UBSC Graz's (1-5) road loss to fourteenth ranked Slovenian Helios (3-1) in Domzale 80-93. Helios players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a great evening for guard Jure Pelko (190-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Blaz Mahkovic (201-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) helped adding 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American center Darien Nelson-Henry (211-94, college: Pennsylvania) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 19 rebounds and French forward Matt Gamberoni (208-91, college: Trevecca Naz., agency: Diamond Sports) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Helios and five UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. Helios have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourteenth place in Group D with 3-1 record. UBSC Graz lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with five games lost. Helios will play against higher ranked Levice (#13) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. UBSC Graz will have a break next round.
