An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ekaterinburg. Third ranked Neftyanik faced second-ranked UMMC Junior. Guests from Omsk (10-6) defeated host UMMC Junior (10-6) 61-46. Neftyanik made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 UMMC Junior turnovers and outrebounded them 46-27 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Kseniya Kornienko who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds and center Nadezhda Matrosova (185-93) who added 8 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Ekaterina Ilinova (178-95) responded with 14 points and international point guard Viktoriia Zavialova (166-98) scored 9 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Neftyanik moved-up to second place, which they share with UMMC Junior and Nika. Neftyanik will meet Nika (#4) in the next round. UMMC Junior will have a break next round.
