Top ranked BC Rostov (13-3) recorded its third loss at the home court on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by eighth ranked MBA-2 (6-10) 66-63. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of BC Rostov. The best player for the winners was center Vera Kuchina (195-0) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Anastasia Borovykh (176-96) chipped in 15 points. MBA-2's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Jane-Elizabet Morozova (187-97) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and forward Anastasia Maksimova (182-92) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Four BC Rostov players scored in double figures. MBA-2 moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Dynamo-Farm. BC Rostov at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. MBA-2 is looking forward to face Dynamo-Farm (#6) in Kursk in the next round. BC Rostov will play at home against Samara (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
