Another upset was a game between Parma-2 (6-12) and Avtodor-2 (5-9), which took place in Saratov. 6th ranked Parma-2 lost to ninth ranked Avtodor-2 in a road game 89-94 on Sunday. Avtodor-2 made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Nikita Mikhailovskiy who scored that evening 36 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and forward Anton Kvitkovskikh (198-0) supported him with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Avtodor-2's coach Vladimir Antsiferov used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even 22 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists by point guard Pavel Kogevnikov (180-98) did not help to save the game for Parma-2. Forward Sergey Shirokov (202-97) added 15 points and 13 rebounds. Five Parma-2 players scored in double figures. Avtodor-2 have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position with 5-9 record. Parma-2 lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with CSKA Junior and N.Novgorod-2. Avtodor-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Parma-2 will play against N.Novgorod-2 (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
