The game in Massagno was also quite interesting. 4th placed Neuchatel (8-7) played at the court of fifth ranked Massagno (9-6). Massagno defeated Neuchatel 88-76 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American swingman Keon Moore (196-92, college: Winthrop, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 6 assists. Naturalized Senegalese power forward Jules Aw (202-86) helped adding 11 points and 13 rebounds. Massagno's coach Robbi Gubitosa used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American forward Andre Williamson (202-89, college: Appalachian St.) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Tayloe Taylor (191-86, college: Livingstone) scored 15 points. Four Massagno and five Neuchatel players scored in double figures. Massagno moved-up to fourth place. Loser Neuchatel dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Boncourt. Massagno will meet league's leader Fribourg on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Neuchatel will play against Lakers (#12) in Vevey and hope to secure a win.
