Regular Season Round 11: UMMC - Inventa 88-51

PBL top team - UMMC Ekaterinburg (11-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Inventa (3-7) 88-51. UMMC Ekaterinburg made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game, while Inventa only scored three points from the stripe. UMMC Ekaterinburg forced 23 Inventa turnovers and outrebounded them 47-20 including a 35-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Belgian center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points and 5 rebounds. International power forward Raisa Musina (191-98) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. Olga Frolkina (185-97) responded with 11 points and point guard Anna Burovaya (172-97) scored 8 points and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-1 record. Newly promoted Inventa keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
