Regular Season Round 8: Zlatorog - USK Praha 83-62

Very significant was Slovenian Zlatorog's (#2, 4-2) victory against one of their biggest challengers Czech USK Praha (2-3) 83-62. Zlatorog made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin forward Petar Kusovac (195-93, college: S.Centar) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and Urban Durnik (201-97) who added 22 points during the contest (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Zlatorog players scored in double figures. American guard Devon Bookert (190-93, college: Florida St.) responded with 15 points and his fellow American import forward Cadarian Raines (206-90, college: Virginia Tech) scored 13 points. USK Praha's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Zlatorog maintains second position in Group A with 4-2 record having just one point less than leader Vienna. Loser USK Praha keeps the third place with three games lost.
