Rather predictable result in Perm where sixth ranked Parma-2 (8-12) defeated 8th ranked N.Novgorod-2 (6-14) 65-53. Parma-2 forced 23 N.Novgorod-2 turnovers. It was a very good performance for guard Aleksandr Platunov (192-97) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 assists and 7 steals. Forward Sergey Tkachenko (201-99) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Nadir Eksanov (190-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and guard Alexei Metelev (192-99) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for N.Novgorod-2. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Parma-2 moved-up to fifth place. N.Novgorod-2 lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost. Parma-2's next round opponent will be league's leader Khimki-2 at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. N.Novgorod-2 will play against CSKA Junior (#7) in Moscow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
