Rather expected game in Perm where 8th ranked N.Novgorod-2 (6-14) was crushed by sixth ranked Parma-2 (8-12) 80-55. Parma-2 forced 25 N.Novgorod-2 turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Aleksandr Platunov (192-97) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 6 assists and 6 steals. Forward Sergey Tkachenko (201-99) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Parma-2 players scored in double figures. Forward Yurii Pankov (207-99) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and guard Nadir Eksanov (190-98) added 11 points and 5 assists in the effort for N.Novgorod-2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Parma-2 moved-up to fifth place. N.Novgorod-2 lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost. Parma-2's next round opponent will be league's leader Khimki-2 at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. N.Novgorod-2 will play against CSKA Junior (#7) in Moscow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
