Regular Season Round 24: Dynamo-MGTU - Elbrus Cherk. 115-81

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Dynamo-MGTU (12-8) crushed 7th ranked Elbrus Cherk. (2-18) in Maykop 115-81. They outrebounded Elbrus Cherk. 55-35 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dynamo-MGTU players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Artem Gaposhin (184-91) who had a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 12 assists. Power forward Pavel Rossov (205-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Coach Andrei Sinielnikov's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Georgiy Lachev (194-93) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Yuriy Karpenko (185-93) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dynamo-MGTU moved-up to second place in 2. Elbrus Cherk. at the other side keeps the seventh position with 18 games lost. Dynamo-MGTU's next round opponent will be league's leader Burevestnik in Yaroslav and it will be for sure the game of the week. Elbrus Cherk. will play on the road against Rusichi K. (#6) in Kursk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
