Regular Season Round 18: Kaposvari - Sopron KC 85-79
Date: January 31, 2018
No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Kaposvari (8-9) defeated at home bottom-ranked Sopron KC (2-15) 85-79. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Sopron KC was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Kaposvari players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Two Points) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Adonte Parker (186-89, college: Dayton) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Sopron KC. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kaposvari moved-up to eighth place, which they share with PVSK-Veolia. Sopron KC lost fourth consecutive game.
