Regular Season Round 18: Szedeak - KTE-Duna 70-62

We should mention about the upset which took place in Szeged, where higher ranked KTE-Duna (10-7) lost to tenth ranked Szedeak (7-11) in a road game 62-70 on Wednesday. KTE-Duna trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 14 after three quarters before a 17-11 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 62-70 at the end of the game. Szedeak dominated on the defensive end, holding KTE-Duna to just 7 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Josh Fortune (196-94, college: Colorado) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Four Szedeak players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86, agency: AproK Sports Group) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) added 18 points respectively. Szedeak maintains tenth position with 7-11 record. KTE-Duna at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Atomeromu. Szedeak are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Sopron KC (#14) on the road in the next round. KTE-Duna will play against Atomeromu (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
