Important game to mention about took place in Paphou. Seventh ranked APOP (2-12) saved a 2-point victory at home edging higher ranked Enosis (8-6) 76-74 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Enosis. They outrebounded Enosis 51-34 including a 24-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by forward Aron Nwankwo (203-92, college: Pittsburgh) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and forward Justin Martin (198-90, college: SMU, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Four APOP players scored in double figures. APOP's coach Ioannis Livanos allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds by point guard Anthony Hickey (180-92, college: Oklahoma St., agency: Alti Sport) did not help to save the game for Enosis. Guard Teyvon Myers (188-94, college: W.Virginia) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Newly promoted APOP maintains seventh position with 2-12 record. Enosis at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost.
