Regular Season Round 19: JP-Auto JKSE - PVSK-Veolia 81-72

There was an upset when higher ranked PVSK-Veolia (8-10) lost to twelfth ranked JP-Auto JKSE (6-12) in Jaszberenyi 72-81 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-10. But PVSK-Veolia won second period 23-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded PVSK-Veolia 43-26 including 17 on the offensive glass. Quite impressive performance for Bosnian center Ismet Sejfic (208-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Devante Wallace (196-92, college: High Point) contributed with 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Croatian forward Veljko Budimir (199-85) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Jabril Durham (185-94, college: Arkansas) added 12 points and 10 assists in the effort for PVSK-Veolia. Four PVSK-Veolia players scored in double figures. PVSK-Veolia's coach Ferenc Csirke rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. JP-Auto JKSE moved-up to eleventh place. Loser PVSK-Veolia keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. JP-Auto JKSE will face league's second-placed Szolnok at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
