The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Spartak-Prim. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Spartak-Prim. defeated 13th ranked Zenit-Farm in Vladivostok 78-64. Spartak-Prim. made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Zenit-Farm turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) who scored 26 points and 9 rebounds. Latvian power forward Artjoms Butjankovs (205-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Four Spartak-Prim. players scored in double figures. Spartak-Prim.'s coach Milos Pavicevic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Ruslan Tumanov (195-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Andrey Savrasov (194-0) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Spartak-Prim. have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newly promoted Zenit-Farm keeps the thirteenth place with 23 games lost. Zenit-Farm will play next round against Spartak St.Petersburg trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Saint Petersburg - Spartak St.Petersburg. Spartak-Prim. will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda on the road.
