Regular Season Round 27: Rusichi K. - Dynamo-CBK 94-93

Important game to mention about took place in Kursk. Sixth ranked Rusichi K. (9-14) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th placed Dynamo-CBK (11-12) 94-93 on Thursday evening. Rusichi K. players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for guard Roman Kazulin (187-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Aleksey Almushev (198-90) helped adding 14 points and 13 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Rusichi K.'s coach Sergey Yaroshenko allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was point guard Kirill Baklenev (184-88) with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Igor Kaytukov (195-90) scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Four Dynamo-CBK players scored in double figures. Rusichi K. maintains sixth place in 2 with 9-14 record. Dynamo-CBK at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 12 games lost. Rusichi K. will again play against higher ranked Dynamo-CBK (#5) in Stavropol in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dynamo-CBK will have a break next round.
