Regular Season Round 27: Arsenal - Dynamo-MGTU 78-76

A very close game took place in Tula between Arsenal and Dynamo-MGTU. Fifth ranked Arsenal (11-12) got a very close home victory over 3rd placed Dynamo-MGTU (12-11). Arsenal managed to escape with a 2-point win 78-76 on Thursday evening. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Artur Uskov (177-91) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 7 assists. Power forward Pavel Krykov (210-84) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. Arsenal's coach Viktor Uskov used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Pavel Rossov (205-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Artem Gaposhin (184-91) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Dynamo-MGTU in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Arsenal moved-up to fourth place in 2. Loser Dynamo-MGTU keeps the third position with 11 games lost. Arsenal will again meet at home higher ranked Dynamo-MGTU (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dynamo-MGTU will have a break next round.
