No shocking result in a game when second ranked Samara-SGEU (23-6) beat on the road 10th ranked MBA Moscow (11-17) 86-68. Samara-SGEU dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to MBA Moscow's 30. They outrebounded MBA Moscow 39-27 including 18 on the offensive glass. Samara-SGEU players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Artem Yakovenko (205-88, agency: Alti Sport) who scored 24 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Point guard Aleksey Golyahov (190-84, agency: AproK Sports Group) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Four Samara-SGEU players scored in double figures.
