There was no surprise when 9th ranked Swiss Central (6-14) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Neuchatel (12-9) 82-62. Neuchatel dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Swiss Central's 28. They outrebounded Swiss Central 44-29 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Neuchatel players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Swiss Central's players. American forward Andre Williamson (202-89, college: Appalachian St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and Serbian center Milovan Rakovic (208-85) accounted for 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American center Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) came up with 11 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import point guard Austin Chatman (183-93, college: Creighton, agency: SDJ Sports) added 15 points respectively for Swiss Central in the defeat. Five Neuchatel and four Swiss Central players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Neuchatel moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Massagno. Swiss Central lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 14 games lost. Neuchatel's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Winterthur (#12) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Swiss Central will play against Massagno and hope to win that game.
