No shocking result in a game in Basel where eighth ranked Pully (9-12) smashed 10th ranked Starwings (6-15) 97-70. Pully dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Starwings' 40 and made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Jamaican forward Tyran De-Lattibeaudiere (201-91, college: Lamar) nailed 35 points (!!!) (on 16-of-19 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American guard Tony Brown (193-79, college: Arkansas St.) accounted for 12 points and 5 assists. Four Pully players scored in double figures. Coach Randoald Dessarzin's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Serbian-Montenegrin center Nemanja Calasan (204-85, college: Purdue, agency: HMS) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds and Croatian guard Petar Babic (190-85) added 18 points and 7 assists respectively for Starwings in the defeat. Newly promoted Pully maintains eighth place with 9-12 record. Starwings lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 15 games lost. Pully will have a break next round. Starwings will play on the road against Monthey (#6) and hope to win that game.
