The game between Top Four teams took place in Troistorrents. Second ranked host BBC Troist. (10-5) defeated 3rd placed Winterthur (8-7) 71-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Winterthur. It was a great evening for American-Armenian guard Sarah Halejian (175-92, college: Yale) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Canadian center Abigail Fogg (196-94, college: S.Dakota, agency: LBM Management) helped adding 11 points and 10 rebounds. BBC Troist.'s coach Antoine Mantey used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman Quiera Lampkins (175-95, college: Ohio, agency: LBM Management) with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international swingman Cinzia Tomezzoli (175-88) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. BBC Troist. maintains second place with 10-5 record having just three points less than leader Fribourg. Winterthur at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Bellinzona. BBC Troist. are looking forward to face Riva (#6) in Riva San Vitale in the next round. Winterthur will play at home against Bellinzona and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
